Dr. Ashitha Nair, a general medical practitioner with National Health Service (NHS), UK, is distinguished for her awareness activities amongst the masses for various ways to maintain hygiene and good health. Affluent speaker and excellent orator, she possesses great communication skills and proficiency in the English language.
Dr. Ashitha finished her MBBS from the Amrita School of Medicine, India in first class. She completed her PLAB and ever since then she has been helping the medical professionals with their professional linguistic assessments and preparations for PLAB Part 1 and Part 2 Exams.
After graduation, she started her career as a Junior Resident (Nephrology) in Aster Medicity in 2016. She also served as a causality medical officer at Renai Medical City. Later, she moved to Kings College Hospital, UK, as a Junior Clinical Fellow, where assisted in major abdomen surgeries such as Whipple’s procedure/Hepatectomy. Meanwhile, on the academic front, she helped in the research and has a couple of publications in Pubmed and the American Journal of transplantation.
She is a dedicated, energetic, and empathetic medical practitioner with remarkable skills to mentor and teaching. By volunteering during several severe calamities like floods and pandemics in rural regions, she has already proven her commitment to society.
Dr. Ashitha Nair joins StudyMEDIC as an assistant course director for PLAB courses, intending to inspire PLAB aspirants to pursue their dreams. StudyMEDIC believes that her experience, dedication, and skills will benefit the PLAB test aspirants across the globe in achieving their dreams.
